It’s January, which means the 2014 nominees for the Philip K. Dick Award for Distinguished Science Fiction were announced today, January 8th. For the third year in a row, we will be providing coverage of all the books as we read and review them before the award ceremony at Norwescon 38.
We had a blast at last year’s award ceremony where the winner was the pre-apocalyptic detective noir Countdown City, part of The Last Policeman trilogy, and the special citation went to the mind-bending Self-Reference ENGINE.
We look forward to reading the new nominees! First prize and any special citations will be announced on Friday, April 3, 2015 at Norwescon.

Nice list! Both Maplecroft and The Bullet Catcher’s Daughter are on my TBR pile. Glad to know they’re both nominated!
